Sunfood Inspired Beet Hummus

Try this easy to make and colorful, nourishing beet hummus. Pair this chickpea dip with multigrain crackers, gluten free crisps or sliced vegetables!

BENEFITS OF INGREDIENTS

  • Beets: Rich in fiber, folate & Vitamin C

  • Tahini: Phosphorus, magnesium & iron

  • Chickpeas: High in protein & fiber!


BEET HUMMUS RECIPE

Serves: 8-10

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tbsp Sunfood Beet Powder

  • 15 oz can of chickpeas, rinsed

  • Zest & juice of 1 large lemon

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 2 Tbsp Tahini

  • 1/3 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • Fresh herbs (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend all ingredients, except olive oil, in a small food processor.

  2. Slowly add the olive oil into smooth hummus mix.

  3. Pour into serving  bowl and garnish with fresh herbs of choice.

  4. Serve alongside, crackers or vegetables.
